My slime has become firmer/smaller - what can I do?

My slime has gotten smaller. Why is that?

It's normal for slimes to shrink over time due to the slime components, as air is removed or liquid escapes. This will happen faster or slower depending on how often and how it's used. The more often, and especially the longer you play with a slime, the faster the water used in the slime evaporates, and the slime loses volume. We therefore recommend not playing with the same slime for more than 15 minutes per day. Having a larger selection of slimes is worthwhile, allowing you to switch between different slimes and promote the longevity of the slime.

What can I do to make my slime soft/bigger again?

You can make the slime bigger again by fluffing it up, which means incorporating air through a specific folding technique. We also offer a "Save my hard Slime" kit, which you can use to make your hard slime bigger and softer again: Go to product

Another option is to briefly place the slime in its container on a heater until the warmth softens it again. The best solution, however, is glycerin, as this immediately softens the slime without changing its basic texture: Go to product
